In May of 2007 the remains of US Army Green Beret Sgt. Lewis C. Walton of Potter St. in Cranston was returned to Rhode Island from Vietnam. Sgt. Walton went missing for 36 years after he and two other Green Berets were on a long range reconaissance mission to learn information from the Ho Chi Mihn Trail. This is my tribute to him and the story of my involvement in bringing him home.
